Well, we had our last official stop on our China tour today- The Doctors office. We had a short bus ride to the Bejing International Hospital. We were there for about three hours and it was quite easy. Just some basic things with the nurse- weight- 8.3kg, length- 71 cm, heart rate, and then a wait for the doctor. The doctor was from the US so it was great to finally see a North American doctor. She was great. She checked Hailey over in some detail and went over the medications we have been using since arriving. Everything is Perfect. This is the last step to get Hailey her Visa from the Canadian Embassy. (Shirley will pick up Hailey's passport on Wednesday for our flight on Thursday).

We are enjoying travelling vicariously! Sounds like Hailey is a good size & healthy girl .....pushing the limits on her size 2 (up to 18lbs) diapers. Andrew (approx 14lbs) is not far behind! Glad to hear Jason is adapting well to the diaper daze. I knew you both would adapt well to being parents and that Hailey would feel secure and settle quickly. As I wrote in my letter of recommendation, a child could not get better parents. You are both smart, funny, hardworking, and most importantly extremely loving. Hailey is a very lucky girl. We can't wait to meet the little monkey!
