Wow...you guys are picking up a lot of phrases! I remember using the Ni-How a lot....that and duo-shao-qián, or "how much does this cost?", but that's about all the Mandarin I ever learned. Good work!

I have really enjoyed reading all your messages. The pictures are great. The three of you look cute! I am very happy for you both. I can't wait to meet her. Enjoy your time and take lots of pictures. Your stories have brought tears to my eyes. I am so happy to hear that she is sleeping through the night. Take care!

You should get Hailey signing...at least I know some of that! Sounds like you guys are seeing the sights...I'm glad. It sounded before you left like you were going to be cooped up in the hotel, but your blog has proved otherwise. Can't wait to see the pics. Work is crazy busy...get home soon.

OK crying again. Geez! I love your stories and sharing your adventure. The love you have for your little monkey comes through in every word and it's clear that your are bonding more and more everyday. I was thinking of you all evening as I knew it was already Thursday in China and that you were visiting the orphange. I hope you spent some time with Hailey's nanny and that you were able to go to the market. I'm sure it was an emotional and draining day for all of you but one that you will never forget. Safe journey back to Bejing. It won't be long now before your are home. LYL, Dagmar

Ni-how, the book came in today and I am heading to Roots tonight to pick up the sweatshirts for you. We are a little concerned about the timeline you need for delivery in China. Please post instruction over night for us.

We are waiting anxiously for news on your outing yesterday. We worry without a little bit of news daily.

Wha-i-ni, Mom

Good morning/evening! Have been thinking about you lots. I read Debbie and Kirk's blog about their visit to the orphanage and Olivia's finding spot and imagined you were also experiencing a tremendous flood of emotion. Just...wow.

I look forward to hearing more of your journey. Can't wait for you to get home.

Lots of love,
Tracey, Chris, River

I'm just waiting for Mom to come by to bring me the goods so that I can get them to Dagmar who will in turn send them to you in China (something about Barrick having more pull than Mom when it somes to shipping things halfway around the world...can you believe it?). Anyway, we're doing what we can to get the stuff there on time. We'll keep you posted.

Ni-how, mission accomplished at this end! We are a go for the special package to leave Toronto today. Thanks Kevin & Dagmar! I was so surprised and relieved to hear you on the phone last night learning that your emotional journey to the orphanage and Hailey's finding spot turned out to be such a great experience. So good to know that the nannies all loved Hailey so much and that her housing over the past year was so bright and clean. I was also relieved to know that the pictures of her finding spot will convey "busy spot" which will make it easier to speak about as Hailey grows up.
I just realized that as I write this you are already in Beijing and likely tucked in for the night safe and sound. Hope that the air travel was okay for little Hailey and MaMa and BaBa.

Six more days to go until we meet sweet baby Hailey, our newest family memeber!

Keep warm (climate change - wow!), stay safe, and keep capturing all those moments for us all to share! What a book of memories that will be!

Wha-i-ni,

Ni-how! I know you're busy and thats why you haven't posted - but want you to know I miss you posting. I also read the Olivia & Samara blogs and looked for you in their photos (but you weren't to be found). I guess you're traveling back to Beijing? Think of you so often...I also can't believe its almost time for you to come home! I can't wait to hear that you're home - and hope you keep posting.

Hugs to all 3 of you, hope you're doing well.

Love, Paula

Hey Guys,
The FedEx package is on it's way too you. Tracking # 6589 2267 9262. It should be at your hotel by 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening.
I hope all is well. I understand the trip to the orphanage was very special and that you also got to go to the place where she was found. I'm really glad you got to do that as I know how important it was to you abd how glad you will be to be able share that information with Hailey one day. You guys are incredible. Can't wait to talk to you soon. LYL
