We had a lovely Peking Duck Dinner the other night. We were not much on the authentic Chinese dinner. It looked great. This is one of the things we wish we did before we got Hailey, i think we would have enjoyed it more. Hailey melted down halfway through and we bee lined for the exit. Kirk and Deb came of course (we were inseparable) and we hailed a cab outside the Silk Market. I dont think he was a legitimate cabbie cause he gave us a very high rate ($15 cdn) and then broke every law in the book to get us home in 5 minutes- it had taken us 40 long minutes by bus to get there! He pointed at red lights and said "Broken" and then proceeded to run all of them. He drove in the bicycle lane and honked at bicycles to get out of his way. It was worth it though to get crabby babbies back to the sanctuary of the hotel room.

I love the picture of you all decked out in your beautiful new clothing. I really hope that you will have the picture framed and hang it in Hailey's room, it really captures the emotion of the evening.
I really think you must have pinched Hailey so you could exit quickly not realizing the punishment in the cab that was forthcoming!
