Special Thanks.

Special thanks go out to these people who have helped us while on our trip (sorry if i have missed anyone).

Mom and Dagmar. We received the package yesterday and everything is great! Your help is so appreciated! Shirley has been so amazing, we just hope this will show our appreciation enough! She walks with us while out like today at the Forbidden City, and talks to Hailey in Chinese reassuring her that we love her in her soothing voice.

Kevin. For solving our blog IT problem. I am back. thanks.

Deb and Kirk. For keeping us on your blog when ours is down and for putting Hailey video up on your blog. Also for the hours i have spent uploading pics and blogging in your room.

And our family and friends, keeping an eye on our home, pets, and preparing for our return.

2 more sleeps till we see you!

Love Alex, Jason and Hailey.

HI there, I have to get to work but I just had a thought. It might be a good idea to take a a couple of videos of Shirley speaking to Hailey in Chinese that you could show to Hailey every now and then when you get home. You might find that she loves seeing them and would find them reassuring and calming.

Big hugs, only 2 1/3 days to go until we see you! Love, Mom

Hi Jason, Alex & Hailey, I am so happy for all of you and have greatly enjoyed each one of your posts. Although I have not commented to all of them, you are constantly in my thoughts. Both Paula and I are very excited for all of you, and really look forward to seeing you when the time is right. I'm sure getting back to the grind and settling in back home will take a while. Have a safe trip home!

Hello happy family!!!!!
Just wanted to send a quick note to say I too have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blogs everyday, sometimes more than once (teehee). You are truly the most deserving couple and I couldn't be more thrilled for you. Congratulations on the newest addition to your family. I'll be sure to look for you walking your little munchkin when I'm around your neighborhood.

All the best!

Hi Hailey, Alex, and Jason,
The video on Olivia's website was the best. I really enjoyed seeing Hailey chuckle and the glow on Mommy and Daddy's faces listening to their little girl. I am so happy for you both. See you soon!
Love your sis,
Elaine

Hey guys- thanks for the updates. So much fun to get a glimpse of your journey.

Sorry we've been absent from the blog - we've been dropkicked by a nasty flu. James's temperature was 103 for the last few days, but don't worry, he's almost back to normal now. We're both in recovery mode at this point, which is a very good thing.

In local news, we're having a crazy snow & ice storm (well, crazy for Virginia), and everything's shutting down here. It's pretty wild.

Hope you guys have a great last few days and a very safe and uneventful trip home. We know how harrowing the whole passport/visa thing can be - hope it goes very smoothly. Can't wait to talk to you very soon and CAN'T WAIT TO PLAN A VISIT!

love Robyn & James

I'm so glad to know that you're almost home. I'm sure you're homesick and really looking forward to bringing Hailey home and starting your life as a family in Canada.
We can't wait to see you all. I've been telling everyone who'll listen where I'm going to be this Thursday.
My girls basketball team came 2nd at their tournament today so play again tomorrow to qualify for the Durham finals on Thursday. If we win, the other coach will be taking over head-coaching duties on Thursday because there's no way I'm missing seeing my niece for the first time!
2 more sleeps for us - one for you!
Love,
Erin

Your China experience is about to end but the new road you are traveling has just begun. Good luck to the new Hemsworth 3... sound like a band, on your journey home. We can't wait to meet little Hailey.
Sorry if the posts haven't been frequent, too much travel and work at the moment, but I have been watching.
Enjoy your last day, I hope Hailey travels well. Don't forget to have some bottles ready for lift-off. The sucking on the bottle helps clear the ears from the pressure.
See you soon.
Love from the Bouldens 4!

Ni-how, not really sure if you will actually have time to check your blog before heading out to the airport, I hope our weather doesn't hold you up, we are getting hit by a snow storm but it is supposed to clear today. Every digit I own is crossed and some I didn't know I had (just kidding)!

A small warning for you, don't look for the bearded Grandpa at the airport for he is a clean shaven handsome man these days. He had the mark removed from his face yesterday so all's good!

Happy Valentine's Day, stay safe, keep warm and have lots of sleeping cuddles on the plane so we aren't meeting the grouchy Hemsworths! We'll take you any way we can get you, just to have you back safe & sound. See you very soon - only 28 hours and 16 minutes to go (if you are on time so that makes only 15 hours and 16 minutes for you with the time change!) Excited? you bet!!!!

Hi Cousin Hailey, Auntie Alex, & Uncle Jason,
Three month old Andrew is the biggest fan of your video!!! We play it over and over....he laughs and "talks" while it is on....then fusses when it ends until I hit play again. His main commentary is "Ahgoo".....not sure what it means exactly, but the big smiles indicate it is a really good thing. Andrew is looking forward to you bringing "the show" to Toronto. We all look forward to seeing the three of you very soon!!
Lots of love, Andrew
