We spent the morning here. It was quite cold, windy and overcast. Not a great day for the babies. The Forbidden City is enormous. We walked 2kms through it without really going into and exploring rooms. There are 9999 rooms in all. It could talke weeks to see it all. Quite amazing. We are off to the Silk Market this afternoon followed by Peking Duck dinner afterwards with our group. Everyone is going to be wearing their traditional Chinese clothes that we had tailor made in Guangzhou. It is going to be fun. I will blog more soon.
Love Alex, Jason and Hailey.

Thanks for the awesome updates. Only a few more sleeps until you're all home. We watched the video today of Hailey laughing. Avery said "she's so cute and she looks very happy". Quite an intuitive comment for a 3 year old I thought. Anyway, I've been marking geography tests for 3 hours (report cards due next week) so I'm off to bed. It would seem that all the other people addicted to your blog are sleeping so I guess I should too.
Love,
Erin
Ni-how, great to hear some news from the other side of the world. The video of the 3 of you was so much fun to watch and seeing that, and the pics that you posted reassured us that the bonding/adjustment seems to be going tremendously well. Alex and Jason, you look so very happy, it has been a long time since I have seen those big stress free smiles and they really look great on both of you! I think my heart has grown to twice it's normal size with pride, joy, and love watching this incredible, life altering, journey you are sharing. The things you have seen, the people you have met, the emotions that you have shared together and with us will be with all of us forever. What a story, thank you for taking us along with you!
Stay safe, keep warm, wha-i-ni,
